Local businesses the highlight of fun spring event

Blairstown, NJ April 15, 2018:  The Greater Blairstown Business Association (GBBA) is proud to announce its third annual Sip & Shop to take place on Sunday, April 15 from 12 to 4 pm at Brook Hollow Winery (594 Route 94, Columbia, NJ 07832). Featuring wine tasting, live music and over a dozen great local vendors, Sip & Shop is the perfect way to enjoy a relaxing day in the sunshine.

The GBBA’s mission is to support local businesses, so it’s only fitting that all the vendors for the event are local entrepreneurs. We’ve already lined up local LuLaRoe, Usborne Books, Paparazzi, It Works!, Color Street, Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski and other vendors. Local artists from Paulinskill River Photography and Barndoor Gypsy will also bring their amazing work to sell. In previous years we’ve had local food, photography, crafted items and more.

Brook Hollow Winery is a family farm nestled in the heart of the scenic Delaware Water Gap area of New Jersey. Each hand-crafted wine is fermented, aged, and bottled by the family. They pride themselves in delivering complex varietals that can be enjoyed alone or easily paired with your favorite meal. Let the stress of the day melt away as you enjoy a glass of wine on their 100 foot long covered porch! The venue is pet, child and picnic friendly. Learn more about Brook Hollow at https://www.brookhollowwinery.com/. Food will be provided by In the Kitchen Catering, with special taco and gourmet “street foot” offerings.

Live acoustic rock music at Sip & Shop will be provided by the talented George Baier. George is a singer/songwriter influenced by the great songwriters of the 70's like Jim Croce, Harry Chapin, James Taylor and others. His songs reflect his journey thru life and the ups and downs along the way. He is now playing full time for a living at local wineries and restaurants.  Learn more about George Baier and hear his music on his website at http://gcbaier.com/.

For over 30 years, the Greater Blairstown Business Association has worked to encourage and support retail, professional and non-profit businesses in the Northern Warren County, New Jersey area by promoting activities and events that build a strong local economy, showcase our hometown values and historical traditions, and encourage community members to shop locally. As part of that effort, the GBBA hosts monthly networking and business education opportunities for its members and their guests.
